RINGWOOD ROAD TCF PROJECT, POOLE – ROAD CLOSURE
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT: Road closed to all vehicles and no parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time
WHERE & WHEN:
• Ringwood Road closed northbound (remains open to southbound traffic) from its junction with Cynthia Road to its junction with Old Wareham Roundabout
Anticipated dates: 13th July 2026 until 28th August 2026
• Ringwood Road closed in both directions from its junction with Cynthia Road to its junction with Old Wareham Roundabout
Anticipated dates: 10th August 2026 until 13th August 2026 nighttime only from 19:00 until 05:00
WHY: This is to facilitate highway improvement works by BCP Council
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety
DIVERSION: Via Ringwood Road, Fernside Road, Wimborne Road, Dorset Way, Old Wareham Road and vice versa

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
The Council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this order.
