THE HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.62) ORDER 2026
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham will make the abovementioned Orders under the powers granted by sections 6, 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
2. The general effect of the Hammersmith and Fulham (Bus Lane) (Consolidation) (Amendment No. 9) Order 2026 which will come into operation on the 24th July 2026 would be to amend the Hammersmith and Fulham (Bus Lane) (Consolidation) Order 2023 so as to amend the controlled operating hours of the bus lanes on: -
(a) Uxbridge Road, between Shepherd's Bush Green and Askew Road and on;
(b) Goldhawk Road, between Shepherd's Bush Green and No. 231 Goldhawk Road.
3. The new controlled hours for the bus lanes will be Monday to Sunday, 7am-10am and 2pm-10pm.
4. The general effect of The Hammersmith and Fulham (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No.62) Order 2026 and The Hammersmith and Fulham (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No.62) Order 2026 which would come into operation on the 24th July 2026 would be to amend the waiting and loading restrictions within the bus lanes described in paragraph 2 above to extend to No Waiting, Monday to Sunday, 7am - 10pm and No Loading, Monday to Sunday, 7am- 10am and 2pm - 10pm.
5. A copy of the Orders, the Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders, and documents giving more detailed particulars can be inspected, by appointment, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made, or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.
6. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of the provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court may write to the Transport and Highways Department, Environmental Services, Town Hall Extension, King Street, Hammersmith, W6 9JU or via email to Traffic.
