THE U4119 THE STREET AND C411 SHOTLEY ROAD, SHOTLEY AND ERWARTON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads
* U4119 The Street, Shotley from the junction with Shotley Road, Erwarton for
88 metres northbound.
* C411 Shotley Road, Erwarton from the junction with The Street, Shotley for
109 metres south westbound.
This is to facilitate a new water main. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1456, Harkstead Lane, Brick Kiln Road, Lower Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/07/2026 - 07/08/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

7.5 TONNE WEIGHT RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE C442 SPROUGHTON ROAD
AND LOWER ROAD, IPSWICH AND SPROUGHTON

* C442 Sproughton Road, Ipswich from the roundabout to Sproughton Road, Sproughton
* C442 Sproughton Road, Sproughton from Sproughton Road, Ipswich to Farthing Road.

The diversion route will be the B1067, the A1214, the A14 and vice versa.
For the duration of this closure there will be a suspension of the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on the following roads:
