What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES -THRUXTON C17 SLIP ROAD & A303 FROM J A342 TO J A338 W, AMPORT, TEST VALLEY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED: that part of Thruxton C17 Slip Road & A303 From J A342 to J A338 W between its junction with A303 Amesbury Road and its junction with Wiremead Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A303, A303 From J A338 to J A342 E

DURATION OF ORDER: from 1st August 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 night, working between the hours 21:00 - 05:00).

The road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for OCU Group on behalf of SSEN to carry out overhead cabling works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: NOC_General_Enquiries@ocugroup.com

OCU Group will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
