HYSBYSIR drwy hyn fod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Caerffili, wrth weithredu ei bwerau o dan Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), yn bwriadu, mewn nid llai na saith diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, wneud Gorchymyn a fydd â’r effaith o wahardd cerbydau rhag mynd ar hyd:

Pantddu Road, o’r gyffordd â Cwm Road am bellter o tua 470 metr i gyfeiriad y de.

Disgwylir i’r Gorchymyn arfaethedig gychwyn ar 20 Gorffennaf 2026 am gyfnod nid yn fwy na deunaw mis neu nes bod y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, p’un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau erbyn 28 Awst 2026.

Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr, preswylwyr a cherbydau’r gwasanaethau brys lle bo modd.

Mae llwybrau amgen ar hyd A467, B4251 Kendon Road, Trinant Road, a Pentwyn Road.

Y rheswm dros wneud y Gorchymyn yw caniatáu gwaith ceblau trydan.

PANTDDU ROAD, ABERBEEG TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Caerphilly County Borough Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along

Pantddu Road, from its junction with Cwm Road for a distance of approx. 470 metres in a southerly direction.

The proposed Order is expected to commence on 20th July 2026 for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated the works will be complete by 28th August 2026.

Access for pedestrians, residents and emergency service vehicles will be maintained where possible.

Alternative routes are via A467, B4251 Kendon Road, Trinant Road, and Pentwyn Road.

The reason for making the Order is to allow for electric cabling works.

The order is required by NGED.
