C15m, Finzean, Banchory - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL
BANCHORY – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (C15m, Finzean, Banchory – 13.07.26) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular traffic) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 13.07.26 for a period of 12 days on a phased basis and will prohibit any person from driving on the C15m, Finzean, Banchory as follows:
Phase 1 (13th July for 5 days) – From junction with B976 to junction to Myreside Cottage
Phase 2 (18th July for 4 days) – From junction to Myreside Cottage to junction at Dalbing
Phase 3 (22nd July for 3 days) – From junction at Dalbing to junction next to property Craigmoy
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety due to cabling works. An alternative route is available via the B976 (Banchory), C15m (Banchory) and vice versa.
