BUS SERVICE IMPROVEMENT AND HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT WORKS, BOURNEMOUTH TOWN CENTRE (4) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT: Suspension of the no entry except cycles from 10pm until 10am to permit vehicle access to Old Christchurch Road for the purpose of loading
WHERE:
• Post Office Road
• Albert Road
WHEN: The traffic restrictions commenced on the 26th June 2026, anticipated to be in place until 28th February 2027
WHY: To facilitate delivery vehicles access during BSIP works
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained and access to properties will be maintained depending on site safety.

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
The Council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this traffic order.
