HENDFORD ROAD, BOURNEMOUTH – ELECTRICAL CABLE TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT:
• Road closed to all vehicles
• No parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time
WHERE: Hendford Road from its junction with Columbia Road to the junction with Newmill Close
WHY: To facilitate works to install an electrical cable
WHEN: Anticipated dates 3rd August 2026 until 7th September 2026
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.
DIVERSION: Via Hendford Road, Kingswell Road, Howe Road, Columbia Road

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
