(REACTIVE BATCH 6) (ROAD CLOSURE) (088/67)

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Southampton City Council intends to make the above Order.

1. The effect of the Order will be to close the following:

Road From To Alternative Route Dates and times of closure
Raven Road Its junction with Graham Road Its junction with Bullar Street Graham Road, Derby Road and Bullar Street 1st September 2026 08:00–16:00
Sirdar Road Its junction with Portswood Road Its junction with Upper Shaftsbury Avenue Portswood Road and Kitchener Road 7th August 2026 08:00–16:00
Johns Road Its junction with Inkerman Road Its junction with Florence Road Obelisk Road, Oak Road and Inkerman Road 28th July 2026 08:00–16:00

2. The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road. These works are for highway maintenance.

3. The alternative route(s) will be as shown above.

4. The Order will come into force on 28th July 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner. It is expected that the works will be complete by 1st September 2026.
