TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Southampton City Council made the above Order on 6th July 2026.
1. The effect of the Order will be to close St Phillips Way from its junction with St Elizabeth Avenue to its junction with York Drove.
2. The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road. These works are to lay telecoms ducting.
3. The alternative route will be St Elizabeths Avenue and St Gabriels Road.
4. The Order will come into force on 14th July 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner. It is expected that the works will be complete by 16th July 2026.
