LAKIN ROAD, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed between Coventry Road and Woodcote Road. Parking bays also suspended.

Reason for Order: Works to renew water pipe.

Anticipated Completion: 25 July 2026.

Access & Diversion: Coventry Road, Guys Cross Park Road, Lakin Road and vice versa.

D4100 CAPE ROAD, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with A425 Northgate and Spring Pool. In addition, the Weight Limit in its application to C37 Theatre Street, C37 Bowling Green Street & A429 West Street, Warwick between Saltisford Roundabout and Crompton Street will be temporarily suspended.

Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works, 0930-1530hrs weekdays only.

Order Commences: 29 July 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 3 August 2026.

Access & Diversion: Cape Road, Upper Cape, Wedgnock Lane, A425 Birmingham Road, A46, A429 Stratford Road, A429 West Street, Bowling Green Street, Theatre Street, A425 Saltisford, A425 Northgate and vice versa.

THE GREEN, HATTON GREEN

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from A4177 Birmingham Road to B4439 Hockley Road.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.

Order Commences: 31 July 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 31 July 2026.

Access & Diversion: A4177 Birmingham Road, B4439 Hockley Road and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, NORTON LINDSEY)

(20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026

Warwickshire County Council has made the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to impose a 20 mph Speed Limit on the length of roads mentioned in the Schedule 1 and 2 below. The Order will commence on 13th July 2026.

A copy of the Order, together with a plan showing the length of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, may be inspected at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick and on the Council’s website: https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20210/warwick-district. Warwickshire County Council is proposing to:

1.   To introduce a 20-mph speed limit on the lengths of road described in Schedule 1 below.

2.   To introduce a 30-mph speed limit on the lengths of road described in Schedule 2 below.

3.   Vary the existing Order titled “The Warwickshire County Council (Built Up Areas) (No.2) Order 1936”.

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (DISTRICT OF WARWICK)

(CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS, ON STREET PARKING

PLACES AND RESIDENTS’ PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION) (VARIATION NO. 15) (PART 1) ORDER 2026

Warwickshire County Council has made the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to vary the existing Warwickshire County Council (District of Warwick) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions, On Street Parking Places and Residents’ Parking) (Consolidation) Order 2017, as described (by approximate measurements) in Schedules 1-4 below. The Order will commence on Monday 13 July 2026. Those proposals which have been deferred are as described in Schedule 5 below.

Exceptions to any waiting restrictions described in Schedules 1-3 below will permit waiting for the purposes of picking up and setting down passengers, loading and unloading goods, for vehicles displaying a disabled person’s badge and in connection with the maintenance of the road and the supply of gas, water or electricity.

A copy of the Order, together with a copy of an Order to be varied, plans showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, are available on the Council’s website at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20210/warwick-district and at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick during usual opening hours.
