Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 14(1), 14(2) and 15(8) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

(i) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

BLOFIELD – Mill Road from its junction with Pedham Road to its junction with Woodbastwick Road to facilitate new duct, cab and chamber installation works from 20th July to 14th August 2026 (may continue until 14th February 2027). Alternative route is via: Woodbastwick Road, Plumstead Road, Pedham Road (Woodbastwick, Hemblington, Blofield). The works promoter is CityFibre Metro Networks.

BLOFIELD AND BRUNDALL – C441 Brundall Road/Blofield Road/Stocks Lane from its junction with Strumpshaw Road for 1110m northwards to facilitate carriageway surface dressing works between 19:30 and 00:00 from 21st to 24th July 2026 (may continue until 4th September 2026). BRAMPTON – U57290 Oxnead Lane from 65m south of its junction with U57099 Marsham Road for 30m southwards to facilitate passing bay carriageway works from 22nd to 29th July 2026 (may continue until 9th September 2026). CAWSTON – B1149 Holt Road from its junction with the roundabout with B1145 Aylsham Road to its junction with Oulton Street to facilitate bridge structure protection works. The Road will be temporarily subject to a 40mph speed restriction from 19th July 2026 to 18th January 2028. Alternative route is via: N/A. The works promoter is Vattenfall Wind Power Ltd.

CROMER – A) Mill Road from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Clare Road and B) Harbord Road from its junction with Mill Road to its junction with Salisbury Road to facilitate gas main upgrade works from 20th July to 4th September 2026 (may continue until 4th March 2027). HORSFORD AND HORSHAM AND NEWTON ST. FAITHS – A) A1270/1641 Broadland Northway slip road leaving A1270/1241 Broadland Northway westbound to its junction with A140/2032 Cromer Road Roundabout, B) A1270/1620 Broadland Northway slip road from its junction with A140/2032 Cromer Road Roundabout to its joining with A1270/1181 Broadland Northway westbound, C) A1270/1600 Broadland Northway slip road leaving A1270/1180 Broadland Northway eastbound to its junction with A140/2042 Cromer Road Roundabout, D) A1270/1640 Broadland Northway slip road from its junction with A140 Cromer Road Roundabout to its joining with A1270/1220 Broadland Northway eastbound and E) A1270 Broadland Northway from its junction with A1094 Poppy Way Roundabout to its junction with A1067 Fakenham Road Roundabout to facilitate Reclamite spray/asphalt rejuvenation works (on the slip roads and the main A1270 Broadland Northway, where lane closures will be in place). Roads A-D will be temporarily closed and are anticipated to be closed between 09:30 and 15:30 from 28th July to 4th August 2026, and Road E will be subject to the imposition of a variable speed limit of 10mph or 50mph as indicated by the display of on-site signs from 18th July to 20th August 2026 (may continue until 20th February 2027). Alternative route is via for Roads A-D: A1270 Broadland Northway, A140 Cromer Road (Postwick and Witton, Great & Little Plumstead, Rackheath, Sprowston, Beeston St Andrew, Spixworth, Horsham and Newton St. Faith, Horsford, Drayton, Taverham, Attlebridge). HORSHAM AND NEWTON ST. FAITHS – Back Street from its junction with Blind Lane for 232m northwards to facilitate electricity pole replacement works on 20th July 2026 (may continue until 31st August 2026). Alternative route is via: Blind Lane, West Lane, Church Street, Crown Road, Back Street. The works promoter is UK Power Distribution.

LUDHAM – A) U19061 School Road from its junction with U19062 Pound Road to its junction with U19268 Laurels Crescent and B) U19062 Pound Road from its junction with U19061 School Road for 40m southwards to facilitate new electrical supply works from 20th to 31st July 2026 (may continue until 11th September 2026). Alternative route is via: School Road, High Street, A1062 Norwich Road, School Lane, School Road. The works promoter is UK Power Networks.

NORTH WALSHAM – U14480 Lyngate Road from 30m northwest of its junction with U11127 Folgate Road for 50m north-westwards to facilitate tree trimming works on 23rd July 2026 (may continue until 3rd September 2026). ORMESBY ST. MICHAEL – U69456 Decoy Road from its junction with A149 Main Road for 430m northwards to facilitate new duct and chamber installation works from 20th to 24th July 2026 (may continue until 4th September 2026). Alternative route is via: Decoy Road, North Road, West Road, Cromer Road, A149 Main Road (Ormesby St. Margaret with Scratby, Ormesby St. Michael). The works promoter is CityFibre Metro Networks.

OULTON – C593 Blickling Road from 1553m southeast of its junction with B1149 Link Road Roundabout for 453m south-eastwards to facilitate telegraph pole testing works between 09:30 and 15:30 on 21st July 2026 (may continue until 1st September 2026). Alternative route is via: Blickling Road, Cawston Road, Penfold Street, Market Place, Norwich Road, B1145 To A140 Link Road To Canon Hoare Road, Aylsham Road, Holt Road, Link Road Roundabout (Corpusty and Saxthorpe, Aylsham, Heydon, Itteringham, Blickling, Cawston, Oulton). REEPHAM – A) Rudds Lane from its junction with Whitwell Road for 30m eastwards and B) Broomhill Lane from its junction with Whitwell Road for 40m westwards to facilitate footway and kerb resurfacing works from 20th July to 28th August 2026 (may continue until 28th February 2027).

Alternative route is via: Road A: Rudds Lane, Mill Road, Whitwell Road. Road B: N/A, but access will be maintained. The works promoter is Lovell.

SPROWSTON – Allens Avenue from its junction with A1151 Wroxham Road for 35m north-westwards to facilitate new vehicular access installation works from 20th to 24th July 2026 (may continue until 4th September 2026). SPROWSTON – Salhouse Road from its junction with Mousehold Lane to its junction with Broadland Northway to facilitate surface dressing works from 19th July to 2nd August 2026 (may continue until 13th September 2026). WORSTEAD – C397 Sloley Road from 200m southeast of its junction with U19254 Woodview for 40m south-eastwards to facilitate culvert repair works from 23rd to 24th July 2026 (may continue until 4th September 2026). GRESSENHALL – C225 Bittering Street from 20m northeast of its junction with U31295 Swan Drive to facilitate electrical connection works from 21st to 24th July 2026 (may continue until 4th September 2026). NB: These works will take place in phases to allow access out of Davy Place. Both phases will take place between the dates of 20th July 2026 to 4th August 2026 when signed, with Road A closed during phase 1 and Road B closed during phase 2.

MARHAM – C47 Shouldham Road from 300m southwest of its junction with U21333 Spring Lane for 30m south-westwards to facilitate water connection works from 20th to 22nd July 2026 (may continue until 2nd September 2026). NORTHWOLD AND WHITTINGTON – B1112 Methwold Road from 420m southeast of its junction with A134 Whittington Hill Roundabout for 75m south-eastwards to facilitate HRA patching works on 21st July 2026 (may continue until 1st September 2026). Alternative route is via: Methwold Road, Main Road, Stoke Road, Brandon Road, Lynn Road, Mundford Road, Cranwich Road, Thetford Road, Whittington Hill (Methwold, Northwold, Feltwell, Mundford, Brandon, Weeting-with-Broomhill, Cranwich, Hockwold-cum-Wilton). RUNCTON HOLME – C789 School Road from its junction with A10 Lynn Road to its junction with C51 Downham Road to facilitate mains renewal scheme works from 20th July to 27th September 2026 (may continue until 27th March 2027). Alternative route is via: A10 Stow Bardolph Bypass, Thieves Bridge Road, Downham Road, Watlington Road (Runcton Holme, Watlington). The works promoter is Anglian Water.

SNETTISHAM – U22215 Fring Road from 1650m west of its junction with C88 Sherborne Road for 50m westwards to facilitate works to create a new solar farm entrance from 24th July to 14th August 2026 (may continue until 14th February 2026). WEST WALTON – U21027 Salts Road from 300m west of its junction with U21179 Lowland Road for 150m westwards to facilitate duct laying works between 09:30 and 15:30 from 20th to 23rd July 2026 (may continue until 3rd September 2026). Alternative route is via: Salts Road, Lynn Road, School Road. The works promoter is BT.

WEST WALTON – C1 Mill Road from 25m west of its junction with C2 School Road for 82m westwards to facilitate HRA patching works from 21st to 23rd July 2026 (may continue until 3rd September 2026). WIGGENHALL ST. GERMANS – A) C8 High Road from 150m west of its junction with U21380 Low Road for 1400m north-eastwards and B) U21380 Low Road from its junction with C8 High Road for 30m eastwards to facilitate mains removal works from 20th July to 1st September 2026 (may continue until 1st March 2027). BLOFIELD – Lingwood Road from its junction with Fox Lane for 820m eastwards to facilitate carriageway and verge excavation and repair works from 13th to 17th July 2026 (may continue until 28th August 2026). Alternative route is via: Danesbower Lane, Yarmouth Road, Stocks Lane, Brundall Road, Strumpshaw Road, Long Lane, Norwich Road, Chapel Road, Blofield Road. BUXTON WITH LAMAS – U57136 Little Hautbois Road from its junction with C245 Scottow Road for 200m southwards to facilitate gully replacement and patching works on 14th July 2026 (may continue until 25th August 2026). Alternative route is via: Scottow Road, Hautbois Road, Little Hautbois Road. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

ERPINGHAM – U14230 High Noon Road from its junction with C293 Eagle Road for 100m south-eastwards to facilitate pole testing works on 15th July 2026 (may continue until 26th August 2026).
