TAMWORTH ROAD AND MARKET PLACE, LONG EATON
WHEN: 02 August to 08 August 2026 (19:00 to 06:00)
WHERE: Tamworth Road and Market Place, Long Eaton between the Jct. of Salisbury Street / Broad Street and the A6005 Roundabout.
REASON: To facilitate the installation of traffic management and drainage works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Nottingham Road, Waverley Street, Cross Street, Main Street, Fields Farm Road, Tamworth Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
