Leapley Lane - Temporary Road Closure To Fibre Cabling Works
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE LEAPLEY LANE, YEAVELEY
WHEN: 03 August to 07 August 2026
WHERE: Leapley Lane, Yeaveley between Bentley Cottage Farm and Jct. with Rodsley Lane.
REASON: To facilitate fibre cabling works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Wyaston Road, Hales Green, A515, Cubley Common, Derby Lane, Leapley Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
