What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE CHURCH LANE, KIRK LANGLEY
WHEN: 01 August to 03 August 2026.
WHERE: Church Lane, Kirk Langley between The Green and Ashbourne Road.
REASON: To facilitate cabling and splicing works on existing poles and 3 new poles to be installed.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: The Green, Long Lane, Moor Lane, Ashbourne Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
