ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

 (STATION ROAD & THREE BRIDGE ROAD, LONG BUCKBY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)  ORDER  2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Station Road and Three Bridge Road, Long Buckby as set out below.

LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of Station Road and Three Bridge Road, Long Buckby from 50 metres either side of the Network Rail bridge structure.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during bridge examinations.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 26th July 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for 1 night.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use A5, Station Road, Main Street, Long Buckby Road, Murcott, West Street and King Street.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)  ORDER  2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Daventry Road, Norton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Daventry Road, Norton from the junction of Eaglesfield to Welton Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pole replacement works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 30th July 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 day.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Southway, Daventry as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Southway, Daventry from Abbey Street roundabout to London Road roundabout.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during drainage works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 30th July 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of King Street, Long Buckby as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of King Street, Long Buckby from Station Road to West Street.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during telecom pole replacement works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 30th July 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(ADMIRALS WAY, DAVENTRY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LOADING OR UNLOADING AT ANY TIME) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from waiting, loading or unloading at any time along that length of Admirals Way, Daventry as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Admirals Way, Daventry from Eastern Way roundabout to Jellicoe Close.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during installation of new water main.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th July 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted until 24/12/26.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Weedon Lane, Norton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Weedon Lane, Norton from A5 for 100 metres.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during telecom pole replacement works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 16th July 2026 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 day.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Broadway, Daventry Road and A5.
