What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.  
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: PHASE 1 - Andlers Ash Road between its junction with Upper Mount and continuing to a point 40 metres North on Andlers Ash Road. (27th July 2026 until 8th August 2026)  
PHASE 2 - Andlers Ash Road between its junction with Turney Close and continuing to a point 150 metres South on Andlers Ash Road. (7th September 2026 until 18th September 2026)  
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Farnham Road, Station Road, Hill Brow Road.   DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 27th July 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 months and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).   The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for SGN to complete gas mains replacement.
