o 21/07/2026 i wahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r darn hwnnw o Ffordd y Tywysog Siarl o’r gyffordd â Heol y Frenhines i’r gyffordd â chylchfan Kingsley Circle am 700 metr i alluogi O’Connor Utilities, ar ran Scottish Power, i osod 2 gebl foltedd uchel newydd yn y lôn gerbydau a’r llain ymyl. Bydd y ffordd ar gau un ffordd, gyda thraffig yn llifo i gyfeiriad y gogledd, o Heol y Frenhines tuag at gylchfan Kingsley Circle. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yr effeithir arnynt fydd cylchfan Kingsley Circle, Rhodfa Churchill, Ffordd Cefn a Heol y Frenhines a bydd arwyddion priodol yn cael eu gosod. Bydd mynediad i gerddwyr yn cael ei gynnal trwy gydol y cyfnod y mae’r ffordd ar gau. Disgwylir i’r gwaharddiad bara 2 fis, neu hyd nes bydd y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau os bydd hynny’n gynt, a gallai bara hyd at 18 mis.

Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

effective from 21/07/2026 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Prince Charles Road from its junction with Queensway to its junction with Kingsley Circle roundabout for a distance of 700 metres to enable O’Connor Utilities on behalf of Scottish Power to install 2 new HV cables in the carriageway and verge. The closure will be one way, with traffic flow in a northerly direction, from Queensway towards Kingsley Circle roundabout. The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via Kingsley Circle roundabout, Churchill Drive, Cefn Road and Queensway, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure. The prohibition is expected to last for 2 months, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
