  1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames hereby gives notice that on 06 July 2026 they made the above-named Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

  2. The general effect of the Order is to facilitate the holding of a fair in St Margarets, Twickenham.

  3. From 6pm on Friday 10 July 2026 until 5pm on Saturday 11 July 2026.

    no person may permit a vehicle to wait or stand in:-

    (a) Hill View Road from the eastern side of the bridge over the River Crane to its junction with Moor Mead Road, Twickenham;

    (b) Moor Mead Road, on the western side, in the 2 parking bays opposite Nos. 30–32 Moor Mead Road;

    (c) Moor Mead Road on its eastern side, in the 2 parking bays outside Nos. 27–30 Moor Mead Road.

    (d) Moor Mead Road in the 2 parking bays opposite Nos. 13–14

  4. From 10am on Friday 10 July 2026 until 6.00pm on Monday 13 July 2026.

    no person may permit a vehicle to wait or stand in:-

    (a) Moor Mead Road in the 3 parking bays opposite No. 26 Moor Mead Road.

  5. Nothing in this Order will apply to:

    (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

    (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

    (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes

  6. The prohibitions or restrictions specified in this notice will apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

  7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, proposes to make the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

  2. The general effect of the Order is to introduce a banned right turn for vehicular traffic from Water Lane into King Street, Twickenham.

  3. Copies of particulars giving further details of the scheme: –

    (a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 26/121, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (1)

TEMPORARY PARKING RESTRICTIONS,

ROAD CLOSURES VARIOUS ROADS & BUS LANE

CLOSURE CROSS DEEP, RICHMOND.

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in various roads.

  2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the roads detailed in the schedule, between the dates indicated. The parking restrictions, Bus Lane closure and road closures will operate on a rolling basis.

  3. The order will come into effect on 20 July 2026. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 20 July until 31 August 2026 the order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

  4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

  5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

    (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

    (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

    (c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
