ADDISCOMBE COURT ROAD, CROYDON

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new gas connection works by SGN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily suspend parking in Addiscombe Court Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place the disabled parking bay and shared use (permit/payment) parking bay adjacent to the flank wall of No. 130 Addiscombe Court Road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply there at any time.

3. The Order will come into operation on 23 July 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

4. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) the being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

BREAKFIELD, COULSDON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement work by SGN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit parking in Breakfield, Coulsdon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, parking in Breakfield will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions prohibiting parking and loading will apply at any time, between its junction with Ullswater Crescent and the cul-de-sac at its western end.

3. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle involved in the said work.

(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

4. The Order will come into operation on 28 July 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 11 September 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement work, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements on Carolina Road, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said work is taking place closures will apply on the following sections of road.

3. During the works the diversion routes for vehicular traffic will be as detailed below.

• Carolina Road closure (from Green Lane to Brickfield Road) – Via Green Lane, Georgia Road, and Brickfield Road or via Green Lane, Northwood Road, and Brickfield Road.

• Carolina Road closure (from Brickfield Road to Springfield Road) – Via Brickfield Road, Georgia Road, and Springfield Road, or via Brickfield Road, Northwood Road, Springfield Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 27 July 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed as detailed above. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate remedial works on behalf of Thames Water they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements on Craignish Avenue.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Craignish Avenue will be closed between its junction with London Road and the eastern boundary of No. 1348 London Road.

3. During the closure the alternative routes for traffic will be as detailed below.

• Via St Helen's Road, Norbury Crescent, Strathyre Avenue and Dalmeny Avenue.

• Via Stathyre Avenue, Dalmeny Avenue and reversed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 23 July 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate resurfacing works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic and parking in Farley Road, South Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

a) Farley Road will be closed between its junctions with Addington Road and Queenshill Road.
