ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES – FELSHAM ROAD AND WEISS ROAD, SW15

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate the safe and expeditious movement of traffic (“the works”), they intend to make an Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary road closures as set out in paragraph 2 below.
  2. Whilst the Order remains in force, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to:
    (a) proceed in Weiss Road between its junctions with Felsham Road and Lower Richmond Road in a direction other than from north-east to south-west;
    (b) enter Felsham Road at its junctions with Dryad Street and Salvin Road;
    (c) proceed in a south-easterly direction from the common boundary of Nos 128/130 Felsham Road.
  3. The Order will come into effect on 27 July 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months. The temporary restrictions will only apply at such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by the placing of traffic signs.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – BALHAM PARK ROAD

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate highway works (“the works”) they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to introduce road closures in the roads detailed in Paragraph 2.
  2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Balham Park Road from its junction with St James’s Drive for a distance of 15 metres.
  3. The Order will come into effect on 13 July 2026 will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months. The works are expected to be completed by 24 July 2026.
  4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Ouseley Road and Sarsfeld Road.
  5. Nothing in the Order applies to:
    (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
    (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
    (c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
  6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – BECLANDS ROAD SW17

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Beclands Road to facilitate Uk Power Network works.
  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Beclands Road from outside 68 to the junction of Freshwater Road. There will be no waiting.
  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.
  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.
  5. The order will come into operation on 21 July 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 31 July 2026.

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Buckhold Road to facilitate Southern Gas Networks utility works.
  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Buckhold Road from the junction with Hardwick’s Square to the junction with Broomhill Road. There will be no waiting at any time.
  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.
  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.
  5. The order will come into operation on 20 July 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 30 August 2026.

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Dover Park Drive to facilitate Cadent Gas utility works.
  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Dover Park Drive, at the junction with Putney Heath. There will be no waiting at any time.
  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.
  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.
  5. The order will come into operation on 21 July 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 24 July 2026.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION – GARRATT LANE SW17

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Garratt Lane to facilitate Cycle Lane Closure.
  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, the eastbound cycle lane will be closed from opposite the entrance to Copeland House to the Lodge House (Streatham Cemetery). There will be no waiting 22:00- 05:00.
  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.
  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.
  5. The order will come into operation on 22 July 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 23 July 2026.

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Kirtling Street to facilitate the installation District Heating Insulation.
  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Kirtling Street from the junction with Cringle Street to the junction with Pump House Lane. The footpath and footway at the corner with Pumphouse Lane will also be closed for the duration of the works. There will be no waiting at any time.
  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  5. The order will come into operation on 26 July 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 29 July 2026.
