On 8th Oct 2025, North Lincolnshire Council made an Order, the effect of which prohibits any vehicle from proceeding along West View, Messingham. This Order took effect on 13th Oct 2025 and will be effective until 12th April 2027. Under this same Order, it is now proposed to undertake further works (manhole repairs by Severn Trent Water) necessitating the closure of West View, Messingham on 4th Aug 2026 (but varied, if necessary, due to any unforeseen circumstances) 9.30am-3.30pm. The diversion is Butterwick Rd, High St and reverse.
