In the Borough of Tonbridge & Malling THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, TONBRIDGE AND MALLING) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER (AMENDMENT No.11) ORDER 2026
Notice is given that THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL acting as the Local Traffic
Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, has made the above Order:-
The effect of the Order is
a) Tonbridge – 21 Wilson Road
Change an advisory disabled persons parking bay to an enforceable disabled
persons parking bay.
b) Tonbridge – 97 Judd Road
Adjustment to permit parking bay to accommodate a new enforceable disabled persons parking bay.
c) Tonbridge – 37 Tudeley Lane
Change an advisory disabled persons parking bay to an enforceable disabled
persons parking bay.
d) Tonbridge – 18 Gladstone Road
Adjustment to the permit parking area to accommodate a new enforceable
disabled persons parking bay, to provide additional disabled parking facilities
following a request from a resident with mobility issues.
e) Eccles – Springett Close
Double yellow line protection across a driveway to prevent obstruction.
f) Borough Green – 3 Rock Road
Amendment to the current parking bay to provide access to a driveway.
A copy of the Order and a statement of reasons for making the Order may be
inspected during normal working hours at the Tonbridge and Malling Council
Offices, Kings Hill, West Malling.
The Order may also be viewed on www.tmbc.gov.uk/parkingorders
Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulations 1984, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
