TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (ASHBURN PLACE) 2026
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.
Ashburn Place to be closed from the junction of Cromwell Road to junction OF Courtfield Road.
The road and footways are to be closed to vehicles and pedestrians for Crane works.
The restrictions will come into force from 19.00hrs on Friday 24th July 2026 until 21.00hrs on Sunday 26th July 2026, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Diverted through traffic may use Cromwell Road, Ashburn Gardens, Courtfield Road, Ashburn Place, or Courtfield Road, Gloucester Road, Cromwell Road
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
• anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
• anything done in connection with the execution of said works.
