In the Borough of Tonbridge & Malling THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, TONBRIDGE AND MALLING) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER(AMENDMENT No.8) ORDER 2026
Notice is given that THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, has made the above Order.
The effect of the Order is;
In the Parish of Aylesford
Hermitage Lane and A20 London Road – new double yellow lines and bus stop clearway restrictions
In the Parish of Aylesford (Walderslade)
Robin Hood Lane - new double yellow lines and new single yellow lines
In the Parish of East Malling & Larkfield
Temple Way (East Malling) - new double yellow linesKingfisher Road (Larkfield) - new double yellow lines between Magpie Close and Raven Close
In the Town of Snodland
Booth Close – new double yellow lines
Brook Lane & Vauxhall Crescent - new double yellow lines
Charles Close - new double yellow lines
In the Town of Tonbridge
College Avenue and West Rise - new double yellow lines
Douglas Road - new double yellow lines
In the Parish of Wouldham
Worral Drive and Keepers Cottage Lane - new double yellow lines and bus stop clearway restrictions
In the Parish or Wrotham
Bancroft Road and West Street - new double yellow linesA copy of the
Order and a statement of reasons for making the Order may be inspected during normal working hours at the Tonbridge and Malling Council Offices, Kings Hill, West Malling.The Order may also be viewed on www.tmbc.gov.uk/parkingorders
Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulations 1984, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
