(A57 VARIOUS LOACTIONS, WORKSOP)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2025 (BS26-207)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Worksop in the District of Bassetlaw.
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road:
a. A57 Worksop Road, Worksop - From its junction with B6040 Worksop Road to its junction with Five Lanes End Roundabout, Clumber Park
b. A57 Worksop Bypass, Worksop - From its junction with B6040 Worksop Road to its junction with Netherton Road.
2. Vehicles are prohibited from Waiting, Loading and Unloading (Both Sides) (at all times) in the following length of road:
a) A57 Worksop Road, Worksop - From its junction with B6040 Worksop Road to its junction with Five Lanes End Roundabout, Clumber Park.
b) B6040 Worksop Road, Worksop - From its junction with A57 Worksop bypass to its junction with Manton Wood Enterprise Park.
a. A57 Worksop Bypass, Worksop - From its junction with B6040 Worksop Road to its junction with Netherton Road.
3. No vehicle shall proceed at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour when signed on site in the following length of road:-
a. A57 Worksop Road, Worksop - From its junction with B6040 Worksop Road to its junction with Five Lanes End Roundabout, Clumber Park.
b. A57 Worksop Bypass, Worksop - From its junction with B6040 Worksop Road to its junction with Netherton Road.
c) B6040 Worksop Road, Worksop - From its junction with A57 Worksop bypass to its junction with Manton wood Enterprise Park.
1. No vehicle shall proceed at a speed exceeding 40 miles per hour when signed on site in the following length of road:-
a. A57 Worksop Road, Worksop - From its junction with B6040 Worksop Road to its junction with Five Lanes End Roundabout, Clumber Park.
c. A57 Worksop Bypass, Worksop - From its junction with B6040 Worksop Road to its junction with Netherton Road.
1. No person shall allow a vehicle to cross the central reservation from the westbound to eastbound carriageway or from the eastbound to westbound carriageway in the following length of road:
a) A57 Worksop Road, Worksop - From its junction with B6040 Worksop Road to its junction with Five Lanes End Roundabout, Clumber Park
b) A57 Worksop Bypass, Worksop - From its junction with B6040 Worksop Road to its junction with Netherton Road
1. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
2. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows:
From 07:30 Hours Monday 27th July 2026
Until 17:00 Hours Friday, 19th November 2027 inclusive.
The Order will come into force on Monday 27th July 2026 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
