What is happening?

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

A) Sutton Road (Part), Fovant; from its junction with Home Close to its property known as Hazeldene to enable Wessex Water Services to carry out defect and associated works. Alternative route via Sutton Road (unaffected length) – Dean Lane – A30 – C64 – C276 – Sutton Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 05 August 2026 and the closure will be required for 1 day. For further information please contact Wessex Water Services on 0345 600 4600.

B) Baverstock Lane (Part), Dinton; from its property known as Baverstock Manor for a distance of approximately 160m in a westerly direction to enable MJ Abbott to carry out multiple connections including foul, portable, surface water and ducting and associated works via excavation. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 03 August 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:30 until 14 August 2026. C) B3079 (Part), Landford; from its property known as September Cottage for a distance of approximately 250m in a northerly direction to enable National Grid to carry out installation overhead power cables and associated works. Alternative route via B3079 (unaffected length) – A31 – A36 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 03 August 2026 and the closure will be required as follows: Monday 03 August 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 until Monday 10 August 2026. Friday 18 September 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 until Friday 25 September 2026. For further information please contact Core Highways on 0330 043 3030.

D) C10 (Part), Wylye; from its junction with High Street to its junction with Sheepwash Lane.

E) C10 (Part), Wylye; from its junction with Dinton Road to its property known as Court Farmhouse to enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer and associated works.

Alternative route via C10 (unaffected length) – C283 – A36 – C64 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 03 August 2026 and the closure will be required for 5 days. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 600 4600.

F) C25 (Part), Tisbury; for a distance of approximately 50m either side of the property known as Paddock Wood to enable Wessex Water Services to carry out frame and cover and associated works. Alternative route via C25 (unaffected length) – C43 – B3089 – C301 – C24 – C25 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation at 09:00 on 03 August 2026 and the closure will be required 24 hours a day for 3 days. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

G) C24 (Part), Tisbury; from its junction with C301 for a distance of approximately 150m in a south easterly direction to enable F Moore Contractors to carry out a new foul connection via excavation and associated works. Alternative route via C24 (unaffected length) – C276 – C301 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 July 2026 and the closure will be required until 18 July 2026. H) Water Lane (Part), Enford; from its junction with Longstreet for a distance of approximately 225m in an easterly direction to enable Openreach Limited to carry out pole replacement. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 15 July 2026 and the closure will be required for 1 day. I) C326 (Part), Bowerchalke and Ebbesborne Wake; from its junction with C65 to its junction with C12 to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route via C12 – C65 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 July 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 for 6 weekdays. Orders A) to I) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Phase 1: C32 (Part), Enford; from its junction with Water Lane for a distance of approximately 154m in a northerly direction.

Phase 2: Longstreet (Part), Enford; from its junction with Enford Hill for a distance of approximately 200m in a southerly direction.

Phase 3: Enford Hill (Part), Enford; from its property known as No.50 Enford Hill for a distance of approximately 90m in an easterly direction to enable Wessex Water Services Limited to carry out sewer lining works.

Alternative route:

Phase 1: via C32 (unaffected length), A345, Enford Hill and vice versa.

Phase 2: via Longstreet (unaffected length), Everleigh Road, A345 and vice versa.

Phase 3: via Enford Hill (unaffected length), Longstreet, Everleigh Road, A345 and vice versa.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 03 August 2026 and the closure will be required until 27 August 2026. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
