What is happening?

DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Order,
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Beachcroft Road, Wall Heath) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Beachcroft Road, Wall Heath, for the purpose of carriageway reconstruction works being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 31.07.2026 and will remain in force until 13.08.2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. The restrictions will be in force from 08:00 until 16:00 each day Traffic will be diverted via: Wolverhampton Road, Holbeache Road, Maidensbridge Road, and vice versa.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Junction Road, Stourbridge) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Junction Road, Stourbridge, for the purpose of carriageway resurfacing works being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 29.07.2026 and will remain in force until 07.08.2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Red Hill, Brook Road, Grange Road, Rufford Road, Hungary Hill, and Junction Road.
Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
