What is happening?
Borough of Telford & Wrekin
The Council has made the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Trench Lock, Castle Street, Sommerfeld Road, Hadley (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, whilst highway improvement works are being undertaken. The order becomes operational from the 20/7/26 between the hours of 19:00-05:00. The following roads are affected: Trench Lock, Hadley from a point approx. 100m from its jcn with Trench Lock Rbt to its jcn with Chestnut Terrace. Castle St, Hadley from its jcn with Chestnut Terrace to its jcn with Castle Ln. Sommerfeld Rd, Hadley from its jcn with Trench Lock to its jcn with Trench Lock 2. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the
27/7/26.
