The Council proposes to make the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Avenue Road, Newport (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, whilst chamber works are being undertaken. The order becomes operational from the 19/7/26.
The following road is affected: Avenue Road, Newport from its jcn with St Nicholas Park for approx. 40m in an easterly and 20m in a westerly direction.
The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 19/7/26.
Alternative routes will be signed on site.
