NOTICE is hereby given that Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council intend in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic from proceeding along the length of road set out in the Schedule below whilst the Order is in force. During such periods as are indicated by traffic signs informing the public that the road is closed.
The Order is necessary to enable Welsh Water to carry out civil engineering works in the road and for the Highways Section to carry out any ancillary highway maintenance works resulting therefrom.
The Order will come into force on the 5th August 2026 and shall continue in force for a maximum duration of 18 months, or until the works are completed whichever is the sooner, but it is anticipated the works will take 3 weeks to complete.
SCHEDULE
Coedcae will be closed from the junction of Brecon Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 40m along its length.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.
Access for emergency services, residents and pedestrians will be maintained.
