What is happening?

Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn o dan Adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag stopio ar y darnau o ffordd a bennir yr Atodlen i’r Hysbysiad hwn, er mwyn hwyluso’r gwaith ar y briffordd neu er y briffordd ac i sicrhau diogelwch y cyhoedd a chynnal llif rhydd traffig yn ystod y gwaith hwnnw. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn dod i rym ar 20/07/26 a disgwylir iddo aros mewn grym tan 21/01/27, neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, p’un bynnag yw’r cynharaf. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn para dim mwy na 18 mis. Bydd y cyfyngiadau a osodir gan y Gorchymyn yn cael eu nodi gan arwyddion traffig a osodir yn unol â Rheoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016 a dim ond pan fo arwyddion o’r fath yn eu lle y bydd y Gorchymyn yn weithredol. Caniateir mynediad i gerbydwyr drwy’r amser.

• Ni fydd unrhyw beth yn yr Hysbysiad hwn yn atal unrhyw gerbyd rhag stopio gyda’r bo’n angenrheidiol:

• mewn cysylltiad â gwaith a wneir gan ymgymerwr statudol;

• mewn cysylltiad â gwaith a wneir gan yr awdurdod priffyrdd;

• os yw’r cerbyd yn cael ei ddefnyddio at ddibenion tân, ambiwlans neu’r heddlu;

• lle mae’r cerbyd yn cael ei atal rhag symud ymlaen gan amgylchiadau y tu hwnt i reolaeth y gyrrwr.

Rydym yn croesawu gohebiaeth yn Gymraeg. Byddwn yn ymateb i unrhyw ohebiaeth yn Gymraeg ac ni fydd hyn yn arwain at unrhyw oedi.

Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 The effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from stopping on the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice, to facilitate the execution of works on or near the highway and to ensure the safety of the public and maintain the free flow of traffic during those works. The Order will come into force on 20/07/26 and is expected to remain in force until 21/01/27, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the Order will not exceed 18 months. The restrictions imposed by the Order shall be indicated by traffic signs placed in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 and the Order shall have effect only where such signs are in place. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

• Nothing in this Notice shall apply so as to prevent any vehicle from stopping for so long as may be necessary:

• in connection with works carried out by statutory undertakers;

• in connection with works carried out by the highway authority;

• if the vehicle is being used for fire, ambulance or police purposes;

• where the vehicle is prevented from proceeding by circumstances beyond the driver's control.

• A528 High Street, Overton – its entire length – from its junction of B5069 Turning Street/ Bangor Road to its junction with Penyllan Street, Overton

• Dark Lane, Overton – its entire length – from its junction with A528 High Street to its junction with Church Road

• Penyllan Street, Overton – its entire length – from its junction with A528 High Street to its junction with A539 Station Road

• A539 Station Road, Overton – from its junction with Penyllan Street to its junction with Mill Court

• Church Road, Overton – its entire length – from its junction with Dark Lane to its junction with A539 Station Road
