(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Park Road in Worthing from Brighton Road to Lyndhurst Road.

The road closure is needed to allow gas mains to be replaced in safety.

The Order will come into effect on 27 July 2026 and remain in force until 16 October 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.

During the operative periods of this Order Park Road will be closed in short sections as works progress along the road. The One-Way restriction on the road will be suspended to allow access either side of the closure. Alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site and access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Southwick: Manor Hall Road to A27 Footpath)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close the Manor Hall Road to A27 Footpath in Southwick, from its junction with Manor Hall Road to its junction with Jubilee Road.

The closure of this route is needed to allow a new property development to be constructed in safety.

The Order will come into effect on 27 July 2026 and remain in force for three weeks. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.

During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Shoreham-By-Sea: Windlesham Road and Mill Lane)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close roads in Shoreham-By-Sea as follows:

Windlesham Road: from Buckingham Road, eastwards for 25M from 27 July 2026 to 24 August 2026; and Mill Lane: from Buckingham Road, eastwards for 25M from 24 August 2026  to 21 September  2026.

The closure of these roads is needed to allow gas mains to be replaced in safety.

Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.
