ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – (AS AMENDED)

PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 21 (PART) CHESLYN HAY PARISH AND PUBLIC

FOOTPATH NO. 1 BRIDGTOWN PARISH (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council on 3/7/25 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along the following lengths of Public Rights of Way:

•   Public Footpath No. 1 Bridgtown Parish from its junction with Watling Street for approximately 147 metres in a south south westerly direction then west south westerly direction to its junction with Public Footpath No. 21 Cheslyn Hay Parish.

•   Public Footpath No. 21 Cheslyn Hay Parish from its junction with Public Footpath No. 1 Bridgtown Parish for approximately 233 metres in a generally south south easterly direction then south westerly direction to its junction with Bridge Avenue.

The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to works taking place on the footpath. These are expected to last for twelve weeks.

A plan will be displayed on site to show length of paths to be closed.

This Order came into operation on 7/7/25 and has been extended for a further period of six months, until 7/1/27 or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. This extension has been given approval by the Secretary of State. If necessary, the Order may be extended for a further period.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 7/7/26 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

Cricket Ln, Lichfield. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB146777501. The Order will come into operation on 13/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 17/8/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the gas diversion works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 14/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier

The Order will come into operation on 16/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the defect repair works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 14/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 14/07/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by  15/07/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the manhole replacement and repair works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic along:

Uttoxeter Rd, Blithbury. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB150691062. The Order will come into operation on 29/7/26 and the said works will commence on or  as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 30/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 30/7/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the telegraph pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 30/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 30/7/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY SPEED LIMIT

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily lower the speed limit along:

Main Rd, Haselour Ln & Peggs Ln, Harlaston & Burton Rd & Model Farm Ln, Elford. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB150570536. The Order will come into operation on 30/7/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 30/7/27. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the access and egress requirements are no longer required, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
