1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames propose to make the following Order: The Kingston upon Thames (Parking, Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No.*) Order 202* under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 (insofar as applicable) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and all other powers thereunto enabling.
2. The general effect of the Order would be to as follows:-
(a) outside No. 5 Milner Road, Kingston
(i) remove a length of shared use bay operating Monday to Saturday between 8.30am and 6.30pm with a maximum stay of 10 hours, no return within 1 hour; and
(ii) introduce waiting restrictions (single yellow line) operating Monday to Saturday between 8am and 6.30pm.
3. Copies of the proposed Order, of the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order and draft map-based schedules showing the location and the effect of the proposals may be inspected from 9 July 2026 as follows:-
(a) online at https://consultation.appyway.com/kingston-upon-thames selecting MapKing0133 – Milner Road, Kingston
(b) Council libraries; or
(c) copies of the draft Order and draft map-based schedules can also be obtained by calling 020 8547 5000 (Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm).
Alternatively comments to the proposed Order can be submitted either electronically via the link provided in paragraph 3(a) above or in writing to the Traffic Order Team, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU please quote ref MapKing0133 – Milner Road. The consultation closes 30 July 2026.
