NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U70708 Church Street, Ross-On-Wye, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U70708 - Church Street - Ross-On-Wye, outside number 5. Grid Ref: 359865/224095.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Edde Cross Street onto Greytree Road onto Brookend Street onto Millpond Sreet onto Station Street onto Smallbrook Road onto the B4260 onto the B4234.
The said closure is required due to new connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 29th of July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
