Leominster - Multiple Temporary Road Closures Due To Public Realm Remedial Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: HC Leominster Public Realm Remedial Works 26 (26-732), Herefordshire. Temporary Closure Order 2026, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the roads shown in schedule 1 of the Order. The diversion routes for each closure will be signposted locally.

The said closures are required due to remedial works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said Order will come into force on the 27th July 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) or until determined by Herefordshire Council, but the works are expected to be completed within a 3 week period with each closure being planned for the period and duration shown in Schedule 1 of the Order. Actual dates for each closure will be published locally on advanced warning signage two weeks prior to each closure.
