What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -

SECTION 14(1) (as amended)

ACTON LANE

(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF

CYCLE LANE) ORDER 202*

The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate access joint box for cabling and associated works in Acton Lane, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to prohibit bicycles from entering or proceeding in that length of cycle lane on Acton Lane, which lies between a point 46.00 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Mordaunt Road and a point 162.00 metres south-west of that kerb-line,

when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions referred to above would apply between 16th July 2026 and 17th July 2026, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Works are expected to take place between the hours of 9.00 p.m. and 5.00 a.m.

Access to premises in or adjacent to Acton Lane would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

Cyclists affected by the prohibitions referred to above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
