COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF NORTH TYNESIDE

DUDLEY, KILLINGWORTH & NORTH SHIELDS
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2026

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make Orders under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Orders prohibits all through traffic on the following, and as and when signage indicates:

DUDLEY
Western Terrace from the junction with Dudley Lane to the rear of number 7 Dudley Lane.

There is no alternative route, access to be given where possible.

The proposed temporary Order is required for patching and cleansing work to the sewer and will come into force on 29 July 2026 for a period not exceeding 1 day.

Bamborough Terrace Lane at the rear of numbers 67-69 Bamborough Terrace.

An alternate route is available via Blanchland Terrace, Belford Terrace.

The proposed temporary Order is required to replace/ repair meter cover and will come into force on 27 July 2026 for a period not exceeding 1 day.
