NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U66208 - Alders End Road - Tarrington, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U66208 -Alders End Road - Tarrington, outside no 4. Grid Ref: 361938/240369.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via none but access to be maintained and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to new gas mains works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 10th of August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 4 days.
