NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1260 and U70403, Goodrich, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1260 And U70403, Goodrich, approx 65mtrs north from junction of C1260 and the U70403 AND approx 65mtrs west from C1260 junction west for approx 65mtrs. Grid Ref: 357463/219407
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4229 onto the C1259 onto the U70402 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to new supply trenching works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 3rd of August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 12 days.
