(Various Roads, Rayleigh) (Runfest) (Special Event) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 16 A-C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, has made the above Order to facilitate the Runfest, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close various roads in Rayleigh as specified below.

The alternative route: London Hill, London Road, Crown Hill, Station Road, A1245 Chelmsford Road, A127 Southend Arterial Road, High Road, High Street, A127 Southend Arterial Road, Rayleigh Road, Eastwood Road, A127 Southend Arterial Road, Nestuda Way, Eastwoodbury Lane, Cherry Orchard Way, Hall Road, Main Road, Southend Road, Main Road, Aldermans Hill, High Road, Hockley Road and vice versa.

Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.

The Order will come into effect on 12 July 2026 and may continue in force for 3 days unless extended by the Secretary of State.

(Anvil Way, Billericay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Anvil Way, Billericay in the Borough or Basildon, from its junction with Blacksmith Close for a distance of approximately 65m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd August 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGSF308Y – Openreach Ltd).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Openreach Ltd.

(Barrington Gardens, Fryerns) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Barrington Gardens, Fryerns in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Bower Lane for a distance of approximately 40m in a northerly direction.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.

"The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 3rd August 2026 for 33 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2404753 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while parking bay installation works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Barrington Gardens, The Fryth and vice versa (with access only into Bower Lane).

The Order will come into effect on 16th July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Bower Lane, Fryerns) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Bower Lane, Fryerns in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 30m north west of its junction with The Fryth for a distance of approximately 55m in a north westerly direction.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in the above length of road for the duration of the closures only.

"The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bramble Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 95m south east of its junction with Haresland Close for a distance of approximately 145m in a south easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st July 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M167524 – Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while permanent reinstatement works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.

(Broadmayne, Basildon) (Temporary Introduction of 40MPH Speed Restriction) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily introduce a 40MPH speed restriction in that length of Broadmayne, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Lincoln Road to its junction with Broadmayne Roundabout, a distance of approximately 195m (eastbound only).

2. To temporarily introduce a 40MPH speed restriction in that length of Broadmayne, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Broadmayne Roundabout to its junction with Mopsies Roundabout, a distance of approximately 420m (westbound only).

The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 3rd August 2026 for 27 nights (19:00–05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2388636 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while traffic signal renewal works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Kimberley Drive, Noak Bridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kimberley Drive, Noak Bridge in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Wash Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th August 2026 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC454WH2CH02R-CSM – Openreach).

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kingswood Crescent, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 80m north west of its southernmost junction with Eastern Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a north westerly direction.

The closure is to commence on 5th August 2026 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30019707069 – UK Power Networks). (Clay Hill Road, Vange) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Clay Hill Road, Vange in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Codenham Straight for a distance of approximately 165m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st July 2026 for 43 nights (19:00–05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP20117947154 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of London Road, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Clare Road for a distance of approximately 465m in an easterly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Radford Way, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon (eastbound only), from its junction with Radford Crescent to its junction with Stock Road a distance of approximately 535m.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Right Turn' restriction from Station Approach into Radford Way for the duration of the above closure only.
