HIGHWAYS RESURFACING SCHEME 26/27 TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER2026
North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic on various roads in North Tyneside to allow full resurfacing of the carriageway asfollows-

• A 192 Northbound at the Junction of Hartley Lane to junction of Front Street Earsdon
• A 193 Blyth Road on bend at corner of caravan park All resurfacing schemes will be signposted with diversions in advance of works starting on site with alternative routes also indicated by site signage. Residents and road users will also be informed through various methods of communication prior to work starting.
The Order will come into force on 2 August 2026 lasting until 31 October 2026. Works will only take place as and when signage is erected.
