Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coast Road, West Mersea in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Firs Chase to its junction with St Peters Road a distance of approximately 760m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd August 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2406137 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via St Peters Road, Firs Road and vice versa.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Peldon Road, Abberton in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 130m south west then south of its junction with Bracken Way for a distance approximately 40m in a southerly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close those lengths of road in the City of Colchester, as detailed in the Schedule.
