Proposed Order: To close that part of: Phase 1 – U53006 Stanley Road from its junction with C2290 Wylds Ln to its junction with U53009 Cecil Rd. Phase 2 Closure 1 – U53006 Stanley Road from its junction with U53009 Cecil Rd for a distance of 10 metres into a southerly direction and for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction. Phase 2 Closure 2 – U53009 Cecil Road from its junction with U53006 Stanley Rd for a distance of 15 metres in a westerly direction. No access for the emergency services, the diversion route must be maintained.

(Footpath WR-946, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 29 January 2026 the effect of which is to close that part of Footpath WR-946 over the Oil Basin Bridge from the riverside path to Diglis Dock Road, grid refs: 384788.65, 253569.06 to 384788.65, 253569.06. Or in the opposite direction.which was due to expire on 10 July 2026 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 10 January 2028 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Order has been made due to a dangerous bridge
Alternative route: Basin Road U52297, Diglis Dock Road U52298 and vice versa.

(District of Wychavon – Non-Urban Areas) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2026 (Prohibition of Waiting on B4084 Pershore Road and Mucknall Farm Lane, Norton)

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Norton:-

B4084 Pershore Road (both sides): from its junction with Mucknall Farm Lane for a distance of 406 metres in a south easterly direction.

Mucknall Farm Lane (both sides): from its junction with B4084 Pershore Road for a distance of 158 metres in an easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles.

Order made: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of A38 Bath Rd from a point 150 metres north of its junction with U60001 Broomhall Ln for a distance of 150 metres in a northerly direction and in both directions.

Reason: Water main replacement by STW.
Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 13 July 2026.
