LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(BURNLEY ROAD AND HALIFAX ROAD, BRIERFIELD, PENDLE BOROUGH) (PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above pedestrian crossing under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to introduce:
1. Remove a signalised crossing in Burnley Road, Brierfield, from a point 5.9 metres south of its junction with the centreline of Montague Street for a distance of 49.6 metres in a southerly direction.
2. Introduce a signalised crossing in Burnley Road, Brierfield, from a point 8.95 metres south of its junction with the centreline of Montague Street for a distance of 41.57 metres in a southerly direction.
3. Introduce a zebra crossing in Halifax Road, Brierfield, from a point 12.39 metres east of its junction with the centreline of Primrose Street for a distance of 35.21 metres in an easterly direction.
A copy of the relevant notice and plan indicating the location of the crossing may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of the Pendle Borough Council, No1 Market Street, Nelson, Lancashire, BB9 9LU and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston, PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
