LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(CHURCH STREET, CRABTREE STREET, HIGH STREET AND UNION STREET, BRIERFIELD, PENDLE BOROUGH) (VARIOUS MOVING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 202*
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Introduce a prohibition of left turn in the following lengths of road:
a) Church Street, Brierfield, northbound vehicles on Church Street prohibited from turning left into High Street;
b) Church Street, Brierfield, southbound vehicles on Church Street to be prohibited from turning left into Crabtree Street;
c) Union Street, Brierfield, northbound vehicles on Union Street to be prohibited from turning left into High Street;
d) Union Street, Brierfield, southbound vehicles on Union Street to be prohibited from turning left into Crabtree Street.
2. Introduce a prohibition of right turn in the following lengths of road:
a) Church Street, Brierfield, southbound vehicles on Church Street to be prohibited from turning right into High Street;
b) Union Street, Brierfield, southbound vehicles on Union Street to be prohibited from turning right into High Street.
3. Introduce one way traffic in the following lengths of road:
a) Crabtree Street, Brierfield, from its junction with Walter Street to its junction with Burnley Road east to west
b) High Street, Brierfield, from its junction with Burnley Road to its junction with Walter Street west to east.
A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Pendle Borough Council, No1 Market Street, Nelson, Lancashire, BB9 9LU and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
