LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(ARTHUR STREET, HALIFAX ROAD, REEDLEY ROAD AND WALTER STREET, BRIERFIELD, PENDLE BOROUGH) (REVOCATIONS AND VARIOUS PARKING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 202*
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke the following:
a) The "Lancashire County Council (Various Roads, Pendle Borough) (Revocation and Various Parking Restrictions) (Amendment) Order 2013" insofar as it relates to:
i. Items (2), (10)a)(i), (10)a)(ii), (10)a)(iii), (10)b)(i), (10)b)(iii), (10)b)(iv), (10)b)(v) and (25) of Schedule 10.01.
ii. Item (1)a) of Schedule 11.007.
b) The "Lancashire County Council (Pendle Borough Area) (On Street Parking Places, Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Consolidation Order 2009" insofar as it relates to Item (95) of Schedule 10.01.
2. Introduce a prohibition of waiting in the following lengths of road:
a) Arthur Street, Brierfield, both sides, from a point 10 metres north of its junction with the Centreline of Castle Street for a distance of 21.5 metres in a southerly direction;
b) Arthur Street, Brierfield, both sides, from a point 10.5 metres north of its junction with the Centreline of Chapel Street for a distance of 21 metres in a southerly direction;
c) Arthur Street, Brierfield, both sides, from a point 9.5 metres north of its junction with the Centreline of Commercial Street for a distance of 20 metres in a southerly direction;
d) Arthur Street, Brierfield, both sides, from its junction with the Centreline of Back Commercial Street for a distance of 15.5 metres in a northerly direction;
e) Arthur Street, Brierfield, both sides, from its junction with the Centreline of Halifax Road for a distance of 11 metres in a northerly direction;
f) Castle Street, Brierfield, both sides, from a point 9.5 metres west of its junction with the Centreline of Arthur Street for a distance of 19 metres in an easterly direction;
g) Chapel Street, Brierfield, both sides, from a point 9.5 metres west of its junction with the Centreline of Arthur Street for a distance of 19.5 metres in an easterly direction;
h) Commercial Street, Brierfield, both sides, from a point 9.5 metres west of its junction with the Centreline of Arthur Street for a distance of 19 metres in an easterly direction;
i) Crabtree Street, Brierfield, both sides, from its junction with the Centreline of Burnley Road for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction;
j) Crabtree Street, Brierfield, the north side, from a point 6 metres west of its junction with the Centreline of Union Street for a distance of 11 metres in an easterly direction;
k) Halifax Road, Brierfield, the north side, from a point 9.5 metres west of its junction with the Centreline of Walter Street to a point 10.5 metres east of its junction with the Centreline of Arthur Street;
l) Halifax Road, Brierfield, the north side, from its junction with the Centreline of Colne Road to a point 7 metres east of its junction with the Centreline of Tunstill Square;
m) Halifax Road, Brierfield, the south side, from a point 10 metres west of its junction with the Centreline of Primrose Street to its junction with the Centreline of Mount Street;
n) High Street, Brierfield, both sides, from its junction with the Centreline of Walter Street for a distance of 11.5 metres in a westerly direction;
o) High Street. Brierfield, both sides, from its junction with the Centreline of Burnley Road for a distance of 9.5 metres in an easterly direction;
p) High Street, Brierfield, the north side, from a point 10 metres west of its junction with the Centreline of Union Street for a distance of 19 metres in an easterly direction;
q) Hill Street. Brierfield, both sides, from a point 11.5 metres east of its junction with the Centreline of Primrose Street for a distance of 24.5 metres in an easterly direction;
r) Reedley Road, Reedley, Burnley, both sides, from a point 22 metres east of its junction with the Centreline of Walter Street for a distance of 35.5 metres in a westerly direction;
s) Union Street, Brierfield, both sides, from its junction with the Centreline of High Street for a distance of 8.5 metres in a northerly direction;
t) Union Street, Brierfield, both sides, from its junction with the Centreline of Crabtree Street for a distance of 11 metres in a northerly direction;
u) Walter Street, Brierfield, both sides, from its junction with the Centreline of Reedley Road for a distance of 21 metres in a north easterly direction;
v) Walter Street, Brierfield, the east side, from its junction with the Centreline of Halifax Road to a point 31 metres north of its junction with the Centreline of Henry Gardens;
w) Walter Street. Brierfield, the west side, from a point 6 metres south of its junction with the Centreline of Wood Street for a distance of 11.5 metres in a northerly direction;
x) Walter Street, Brierfield, the west side, from a point 4.5 metres south of its junction with the Centreline of Hill Street for a distance of 10.5 metres in a northerly direction;
y) Walter Street, Brierfield, the west side, from a point 24.5m north of its junction with the Centreline of Crabtree Street for a distance of 57.5m in a southerly direction;
z) Walter Street, Brierfield, the west side, from its junction with the Centreline of Halifax Road for a distance of 11.5 metres in a southerly direction;
aa) Walter Street, Brierfield, the west side, from a point 9 metres south of its junction with the Centreline of High Street for a distance of 21 metres in a northerly direction;
bb) Wood Street, Brierfield, both sides, from its junction with the Centreline of Walter Street for a distance of 11 metres in a westerly direction;
cc) Wood Street, Brierfield, both sides, from its junction with the Centreline of Walter Street for a distance of 11 metres in an easterly direction.
3. Introduce a restriction of waiting between 8am and 6pm in Halifax Road, Brierfield, the north side, from a point 7 metres east of its junction with the Centreline of Tunstill Square to a point 9.5 metres west of its junction with the Centreline of Walter Street.
