PROPOSED DIVERSION OF PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY BW1301043
AT DUCK POND BUNGALOW BARNOLDSWICK
PUBLIC DIVERSION ORDER 2026

The above order, made on 2nd July 2026, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the public bridleway running from a point north of Duck Pond Farm Cottage at grid reference SD 8653 4477 (Point A) to a point east of Duck Pond Farm Cottage at grid reference SD 8657 4470 (Point B) to a line running from a point north of Duck Pond Farm Cottage at grid reference SD 8653 4477 Point A) to a point on FP1301042 at grid reference SD 8659 4473 (Point C) and then to a point east of Duck Pond Farm Cottage at grid reference SD 8657 4470 (Point B) as shown on the order map. A copy of the order and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Number One Market Street, Nelson, Lancashire, BB9 7LJ. Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to the Head of Legal & Democratic Services, Pendle Borough Council, Nelson Town Hall, Market Street, Nelson, Lancashire, BB9 7LG not later than 10th August 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Pendle Borough Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order.
