THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION ON WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING ETC) (VARIATION NO _) ORDER 202_  - TO/R5.3.191

The Council proposes to apply double yellow line waiting restrictions at the junction of Rullion Road and Kirkton Bank in Penicuik, to make leaving and entering the side road easier and safer.

Details may be examined from 9 to 31 July 2026 at Libraries, at www. tellmescotland.gov.uk or from david.chambers@midlothian.gov.uk. Anyone wishing to object to this proposal should send details of their grounds of objection in writing, quoting reference TO/R5.3.191, to: The Legal Services Manager, Midlothian Council, Fairfield House, 8 Lothian Road, Dalkeith, Midlothian EH22 3AA, or by e-mail to legal@midlothian.gov.uk, to arrive not later than 31 July 2026.

THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (PARKING PLACES FOR DISABLED MOTORISTS) (VARIATION NO _) ORDER 202_ - TO/R5.3.195

The Council proposes to make a new Order to add further enforceable ‘Disabled’ parking bays to the Order which lists all such bays in Midlothian.

THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (LOUISA SQUARE, ROSEWELL) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 - TTRO/R 5.4.344

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate Scottish Water sewer repair works, Louisa Square, Rosewell will be closed between no.15 and no.17. The Order shall have effect on 20 July 2026 and shall remain in force up to and including 28 July 2026. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffic will be clearly sign posted.

THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (CARNETHIE STREET, ROSEWELL) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PARKING SUSPENSION WITH WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2026 - TTRO/R 5.348

Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works Carnethie Street will be closed from its junction with Rosedale Grove to its junction with Gorton Road. There will also be a parking suspension with waiting, loading and unloading restrictions (both kerblines) to clear the carriageway for said works. The Order has effect on 13 July 2026 and shall remain in force up to and including 21 July 2026. Alternative routes for general traffic and buses will be clearly signposted. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
